Clarence L. Burgan, known by most as "Sonny," was a US Army Veteran who served three tours in the Vietnam War with the 1st Cavalry Division. During his service, he was a part of many operations, a notable example of which was that which took place in the Ia Drang Valley on November 17th, 1965. To those who knew him best, Sonny was a hard-working man who rarely used words when a stern, or affirming, look would better convey his mood. He is survived by his three sons, three grandsons, and a soon-to-be-born granddaughter.
